How we buy, sell, and manage employee benefits is filled with complexity without value. Brokers and carriers use siloed systems built with preconfigured constraints. Data shared is incomplete or varies in format. Benefit programs are hyper-customized. The old adage is too real—the only consistency is inconsistency.
Without meaningful collaboration, brokers and carriers are stuck in an endless back and forth over emails and spreadsheets, with little time to share insights on product or pricing. They end up being busy, but not productive. We call this the productivity gap.
We believe that the right technology can address this gap and pull the industry forward. We built the first Benefits Placement System to enable brokers and carriers to manage the entire placement process in one shared system. We make it easier for carriers to win business and brokers to empower employers with the details they need to make benefits decisions.
